George Katsitadze,

Medical School: Tbilisi State Medical University, 1998
Residency: Emory University School of Medicine, 2003
Clinical Interests: Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrics, Newborn Care
Languages Spoken: English, Spanish, Georgian, Russian

Dr. George Katsitadze was born and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia. In 1999 he moved to Atlanta and in 2003 completed his training in Pediatrics at Emory University. He has been practicing at Pediatric Partners of Gwinnett since 2003 and has been the recipient of many prestigious awards, including “America’s Top Pediatricians” in 2014 and 2015. Dr. Katsitadze has been a speaker at numerous international conferences and is an author of several medcial books. Besides his clinical work at PPOG, he is actively involved in telemedicine and health quality improvement projects both nationally and internationally.

He lives in Buckhead area with his wife and 2 daughters. During his free time he enjoys martial arts, snowboarding and travel.

Alison Lowen,

Dr. Alison Lowen was born in Washington D.C., but lived all over the world growing up, which ultimately led her to medical school in Israel at a program with a concentration in global health at Ben Gurion University.

Following medical school, she completed residency at Akron Children’s Hospital in Ohio.
She enjoys working with children from different cultures, and is especially interested in supporting breastfeeding, educating new parents, and caring for newborns and teenagers.
She lives in Decatur and enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters.





Eve Wexler,

Dr. Eve Oster Wexler was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She completed her undergraduate education at Brandeis University, outside of Boston, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in English & American Literature and Biology. She then attended medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Following medical school, Dr. Wexler completed both her residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in General Academic Pediatrics & Health Policy at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where she then served as a faculty member in the Department of General Pediatrics. She has a broad interest in all aspects of primary care pediatrics, but has specific expertise and interest in newborn care and breastfeeding support, nutrition, child safety, and asthma management. Dr. Wexler is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Leah Busse,


Dr. Leah Busse was born in Cleveland, OH, and eventually moved to Richmond. She went to undergraduate school at James Madison University where she studied creative writing and biology.  She attended medical school at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.  Following medical school she completed the Primary Care Track at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC.
Dr. Busse enjoys working with families from many different cultures and backgrounds. As a bilingual physician she especially enjoys working with Spanish speaking families.  She has a particular interest in working with ex-preemie children and children with chronic illnesses.
Dr. Busse joined the practice in 2016 after moving to the area with her family. She lives in Johns Creek and enjoys spending time with her husband, son and daughter.



Nina Earnest,
MSN., C.P.N.P.

Nina is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. After graduating from University of Georgia with degrees in Biology and Psychology, she eventually found her calling in the wonderful field of nursing. She made the move from Augusta to Atlanta in 2009 and joined Emory University’s School of Nursing, where she has completed both her Bachelor’s and Masters in Nursing with a concentration in Pediatric Primary Care.

Nina is a member of Georgia NAPNAP, AANP, and is an active member of the Emory Alumni Association. Nina has experience working in the Emergency Department at Gwinnett Medical Center and enjoys volunteering at Camp Victory Junction in North Carolina. Nina lives in Brookhaven with her husband, Chris, and their black lab, Kade.

Robin Thomas,
MSN., C.P.N.P.

Robin is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. A few years after graduating from Temple University with a BS in Community Health Education, she decided to return to school for Nursing. She graduated from New York University with both a BSN and MSN with a concentration in Pediatric Primary Care. She has always had a passion for working with children and underserved populations. She made the move from New York City to Atlanta in 2012.

Robin is a member of NAPNAP and AANP. Robin has experience working in the Pediatric ICU, primary care, and has also worked with the Child Protection department at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her young daughter and dachshund.
